Description

Imagen is looking for a web developer to join the marketing team. The Marketing web developer plays a key role in enhancing our digital platforms for scale, and is a core contributor to the back-end and front-end development, optimization, and infrastructure of the Imagen marketing website and other web tools. You will collaborate closely with the marketing department's growth and web design team and with Engineering, Growth, Brand, and SEO teams to ensure reliable, performant, accessible, and secure sites.

Responsibilities

Website Development & Maintenance

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain marketing-focused websites (primarily on WordPress) and landing pages, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

Collaboration & Integration

  • Work closely with marketing, design, and content teams to implement campaigns and integrate tools (e.g., analytics, CRM, email platforms).

Front-End Optimization & SEO

  • Write clean, efficient code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and apply SEO best practices to improve speed, accessibility, and user experience.

Testing & Analysis

  • Set up A/B tests, track user behavior with analytics tools, and provide data-driven insights to enhance conversion rates and user engagement.

Security & Compliance

  • Uphold security measures, ensure compliance (e.g., GDPR), and stay current with evolving web technologies, WordPress updates, and marketing trends.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in web development, preferably in a marketing team or agency environment.
  • Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with a leading Front-end framework (React, Vue, Angular).
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • High level of English proficiency.
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.
  • Experiencing managing large project websites; with multiple languages, flows, and pages - Advantage.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush)- Advantage.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp) and integrating email templates- Advantage.
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools and tag management systems (e.g., Google Analytics, GTM)- Advantage.
