As a member of the IT Management Team, you are responsible for managing, developing, and leading a team of employees. Your role includes leading the specific functional responsibilities of your team, which involves overseeing team performance and deliverables. The Data Products and Data Science manager will provide support to our most dynamic customers in Ecommerce, Supply Chain, and Logistics. This leader will work closely with the business and their IT counterparts to identify and capture value, and drive meaningful outcomes that will help Costco successfully utilize data, user experience (UX), and a strong drive toward results. ROLE ●      Develops a strategic vision for integrating analytics into digital solutions aligned with business objectives. ●      Ensures data governance and compliance, focusing on privacy and security, while ensuring adherence to data governance frameworks and best practices. ●      Translates insights and outcomes into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders. ●      Oversees end-to-end development and deployment of solutions. ●      Monitors performance of capabilities and tools to ensure accuracy, scalability, and continuous improvement. ●      Operationalizes solutions into business processes for data-driven decision-making and efficiency. ●      Defines and tracks KPIs to measure the impact and success of capabilities and solutions. ●      Stays updated on emerging trends in analytics and AI, and applies innovative solutions to enhance digital products. REQUIRED ●      5+ years’ of experience in Software Development. ●      Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau and Power BI. ●      Experience overseeing projects on cloud platforms (Azure/Google Cloud). ●      Proven experience managing, leading, and mentoring teams, with a strong track record in working with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions. ●      Experience in overseeing end-to-end project lifecycles, from solution design to deployment. ●      Communication and stakeholder management experience, ensuring alignment between technical teams and business goals. ●      Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively with a track record of driving successful projects to measurable business outcomes. ●      Experience with Agile methodology. ●      Familiarity with tools, such as SQL and Python overseeing data analysis efforts. ●      Familiarity with the operationalization of products/solutions into business processes, ensuring successful model deployment and integration into workflows. ●      Ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions. ●      Proficiency in managing self-service analytics and delivering insightful business reports. ●      Understanding of predictive and prescriptive analytics to drive business strategies. Knowledge of how information is used to drive business decisions and results. ●      Understanding of ETL processes and experience managing data pipeline teams. ●      Knowledge of: ●      Databases and Big Data frameworks for managing large datasets. ●      Product Management. ●      Data Products. ●      Data privacy regulations for compliance.
