As a Legal Intern, you will support the legal team in a variety of tasks, including drafting and reviewing contracts, assisting with regulatory compliance, and providing general legal support for our SaaS/AI products and services.
Gain complete proficiency in supporting legal operations, ensuring compliance, and managing contractual processes, with the ability to handle end-to-end legal documentation and research, including:
Contract Management: Assist in reviewing, drafting, and revising a variety of legal agreements, including SaaS agreements, NDAs, data processing agreements, and licensing agreements.
Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research on matters related to AI, data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance to support the legal team.
Documentation & Templates: Help maintain and update legal templates, guidelines, and internal documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
Regulatory Compliance: Assist in the preparation of documents for regulatory filings, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and industry standards.
Meeting Support: Support the legal team in preparing materials for meetings, including research, presentations, and memos.
Contract Review: Contribute to the review of customer contracts, ensuring alignment with business interests and risk mitigation strategies.
Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of evolving laws and regulations related to technology, data privacy, intellectual property, and SaaS.
Corporate Governance: Assist with corporate governance matters and support internal compliance audits.
Product & IP Support: Provide assistance with legal issues related to product development, including intellectual property protection and enforcement.
Currently pursuing a law degree (JD or LLB) from an accredited law school with a strong interest in technology law, SaaS, AI, intellectual property, and data privacy.
Proficient in legal research and writing, with a solid understanding of legal concepts related to SaaS, cloud computing, and AI technologies.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred qualifications include prior experience or coursework in technology law, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), intellectual property, SaaS agreements, and familiarity with industry regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
