We are now looking for a Lead Data Engineer to strengthen the Corporate Access Platform’s AI COE team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for driving the execution of initiatives across the Capital Access Platform’s AI COE program to help various business operations and process simplification and introduce automation via Artificial Intelligence and drive efficiency and productivity.

Join the development organization for Capital Access Platform’s AI COE team. The main objective for the development team in Bangalore is to build state of the art AI powered solutions to simplify operations & process across CAP products and drive productivity. As our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with your team, you will be accountable for delivering enhancements and supporting the architecture of the enterprise product as it transitions to new software paradigms.

Your role and responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to develop machine learning projects from inception to deployment. The ideal candidate will bridge technical and business objectives while leading multi-functional teams to deliver high-impact ML solutions!

Lead the data science and machine learning initiatives across the organization

We design and develop advanced AI/ML models and algorithms for sophisticated business problems

We define and implement ML strategy aligned with business objectives

Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and ML engineers

Drive innovation in AI/ML methodologies and techniques

Establish model development, validation, and deployment standards

Be responsible for model performance monitoring and optimization

Develop frameworks for A/B testing and experimentation

Furthermore, you will:

Guide architectural decisions for ML systems

Ensure ethical AI practices and responsible model development

Lead research initiatives and POCs for emerging technologies

We expect you to have

  • 12+ years of proven experience in data science/ML, with 5+ years leading teams
  • PhD/Master's in Computer Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field
  • Expert knowledge in machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and related ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Extensive experience with deep learning architectures

Proven track record of deploying ML models to production

Strong background in experimental design and causal inference

Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing

Excellence in scientific writing and technical communication!
 

Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in computer science.

It would be great if you

  • Have experience with MLOps and ML pipeline optimization
  • Have experience in regulated industries (Finance, Healthcare)
  • Have contributed to open-source projects
  • Have experience with real-time streaming technologies
  • Are familiar with graph databases and processing
  • Have experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
