Job Description
As the Lead Data Science & Modeling, you will lead our team of data scientists to develop cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions for our marketing analytics platform. You will be responsible for driving innovation, building high-performance models, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our platform's insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership:
- Lead a team of data scientists and ML/AI engineers to integrate, develop and /or deploy advanced machine learning models.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and identify opportunities to apply them to our platform including open source technologies.
- Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the data science and incubator team.
- Model Development:
- Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated machine learning models for tasks such as predictive analytics, natural language processing, and computer vision for new client solution development.
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate models into our platform, ensuring seamless performance.
- Continuously evaluate and refine models to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Data Strategy:
- Develop and implement modeling training data strategy for high-quality model training and inference.
- Collaborate with Head of Data Platforms & Architecture to build robust data pipelines and data infrastructure.
- Ensure data privacy and security compliance.
- Product Development:
- Work closely with product managers to define product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Prioritize features and functionalities to deliver maximum value to our clients.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of data science solutions.
- Team Management:
- Recruit, hire, and mentor a talented team of data scientists.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure their professional growth.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of machine learning algorithms, including deep learning.
- Experience with popular machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python and R.
- Strong understanding of data mining, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in the marketing or advertising industry is a plus.
