Description:

We are looking for a Knowledge engineer to join our team of senior software engineers, architects and researchers. The role requires experience in knowledge representation, ontology engineering, and machine learning.

The role would entail helping our team to define and build a knowledge based system, collaborating with teams locally, in academia and in China, helping us to the project or individual modules into Huawei products

The ideal candidate would have the ability to move quickly, experimenting/prototyping new software using a fast experiment-driven product development approach.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in data modelling and ontology development.

• Linked Data, Metadata, SPARQL/GRAPHQL or similar, OWL, Knowledge Representation, Resource Description Framework (RDF), Semantic Technologies, Ontologies & taxonomies.

• Familiarity with data mapping, transformation, and querying.

• Strong knowledge of artificial intelligence and natural language processing technologies.

• BSc or preferable MSc or PhD, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

• Solid experience with large scale software design and development.

Desired Skill & Experience (one or more of the following):

• Experience with professional Java or Python development.

• Experience with Network or Cloud Orchestration/Automation, Controllers, Network Integration.

• Strong knowledge and expertise in the use of diverse large-scale database management systems.

• YANG, Modelling of Networks and Network Services.

• Solid background in software industry, 5+ years working as senior software engineer.
