Job Title: Investment Analyst

Scope:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join our client’s investment team. The successful candidate will support investment activities, conduct financial analysis, and contribute to strategic investment decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and a passion for investment strategies in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investment Analysis: Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
• Market Research: Analyze industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to support investment strategies.
• Portfolio Management: Monitor and track the performance of investment portfolios, preparing periodic reports.
• Due Diligence: Assist in analyzing financial statements, assessing risks, and preparing investment reports.
• Strategic Support: Work with senior team members to evaluate investment strategies and identify new opportunities.
• Reporting: Prepare investment presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with finance, legal, and operations teams to facilitate investment activities and post-investment management.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A CFA certification or Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or financial analysis.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and investment valuation techniques.
  • Strong analytical and research abilities.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
