Job Description

Our department (Engineering Product Quality, Processes and Methods, Electrification) is a key part of the Electric Solutions development division within Bosch Home Comfort Group (HC). Our mission is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of products throughout their entire service life. We actively contribute to new product development through technical risk management and validation. Our internationally oriented group is focused on the expanding product area of electric heat pumps, a crucial component for sustainable energy supply in the building sector. We are looking for a motivated intern with a strong data science background to join us in Wernau. For a reliable design a deep understanding of the heat pump operation at customers is crucial, where systematic field data plays a key aspect and where we need support.

• During your internship, you analyze field data with Python (using libraries such as pandas, matplotlib, and sklearn) to extract actionable insights from field data.
• Furthermore, you will design and refine Power BI dashboards to effectively communicate data insights as well as trends, supporting our data-driven decision-making.
• Last but not least, you assist in daily operations and support the reliability engineering team with various daily tasks in lab as well as projects.

Qualifications

• Education: Master studies in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics or comparable
• Experience and Knowledge: strong programming skills in Python with experience in libraries like Pandas, Matplotlib, and Sklearn; proficiency in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards
• Personality and Working Practice: you are a motivated, communicative and team-minded person
• Enthusiasm: passionate about working with data, creating insightful analytics and contributing to innovative heat pump technology
• Languages: fluent in German or English

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months
