Education required: Undergraduate studying a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Statistics/Mathematics/Computer Science discipline with a focus in Data Science 

Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a credit-bearing internship

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English  

Expected Start date: January to June 2025

What will you do?  

  • Develop and implement machine learning models to predict customer behavior, optimize marketing campaigns, and improve overall engagement across channels. 

  • Merging qualitative and quantitative data to bring actionable insights for Customer Engagement score 

  • Assist in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of omnichannel campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives 

  • Document data science methodologies, algorithms, and findings to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain transparency within the team. 

 

What will you learn? 

  • You will gain in-depth and cross-sectional insights into GSK’s Omnichannel Efforts 

  • You will gain hands-on experience in leveraging data for strategic decision-making 

  • This internship provides an unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios in the rapidly evolving pharmaceutical sector.  

 

What are we looking for?  

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R. 

  • Understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning concepts. 

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe, Power BI) is a plus. 

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. 

  • Effective communication skills to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
