Our research team works on cutting-edge projects in the field of computer graphics (CG) and computer vision (CV), focusing on creating innovative solutions that advance state-of-the-art techniques on real-time rendering, visual fidelity, performance optimization, texture editing, relighting and more. We are seeking a passionate and talented intern to join our research team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated with broad knowledge in CG, CV and AI, and with demonstrated ability for new technology research and a proven record of influential publications in related fields. The intern will have the opportunity to work with experienced researchers in the exploration of advanced techniques and contribute to cutting-edge projects. This role will involve research on the latest advancements in computer graphics rendering, covering areas such as ray tracing, global illumination, shading models, neural rendering, and AI-driven optimization for realistic ray tracing and rendering. The key responsibilities also include publishing and presenting the findings in well-known journals and conferences.

 

Requirements:                                                                                      

  • Deep understanding of fundamentals of computer graphics, computer vision and machine learning
  • Familiarity with ray tracing algorithms, global illumination techniques, physically based rendering (PBR), relighting, texture editing, relighting and inverse rendering is a preferred plus
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
  • Proven experience in conducting original research in computer graphics and computer vision, with at least one publication in a peer-reviewed journal or conference
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to contribute to academic publications and present research findings
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
  • PhD student in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related field

 

Hourly interns pay range: $18 to $59, depending on degree-seeking academic program (PhD, Master’s, Bachelor’s, etc.), years of relevant experience, year in school, geographic location, credentials, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

Housing allowance and relocation benefit might be provided to intern candidates who meet the qualifications.   Additional details on the compensation package will be provided to candidates during the interview process.
