Pricing & Promotions at RELEX

We design and develop tools that transform how businesses manage pricing and promotions, helping them make data-driven decisions with confidence. Our Pricing and Promotions applications are built cloud-native on Google Cloud Platform, combining robust Golang backend services with a seamless and intuitive Typescript/React front-end experience. Behind the scenes, our data platform processes terabytes of raw customer data using BigQuery, Dataflow and workflows orchestrated by Temporal. With serving data layers powered by ClickHouse and Postgres, we deliver realtime ML driven forecasting, optimisation and attribution to create data driven, automated workflows for our customers. Our product ensure that businesses can adapt dynamically, making every pricing and promotion decision smarter and more effective.

Join us, as Head of ML & Modelling and this is some of what you'll be doing:

• Taking charge of a small, extremely capable data science team, expected to expand quickly throughout the year and beyond
• Leading the design, development, and deployment of our models focused on solving retail price and promotion challenges, for example improving price elasticity predictions
• Working hands-on to enhance the quality of our forecasts and reduce errors in our production pipeline, which has been in place for several years but still has room for improvement
• Collaborating across teams to keep things scalable and efficient
• Setting up clear best practices to ensure the team builds and deploys models quick, effectively and reliably
• Fostering an innovative and results-driven culture within the team

We're looking for:

• A leader with a solid background in data science or machine learning who knows how to grow a team
• Significant experience putting machine learning models into production and making them stick
• Track record of working on retail price and promotion problems
• Comfortable working with big data and time-sensitive workflows in real-world production settings
• A communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical perspectives and keep stakeholders aligned
• Someone who gets things done, keeps the focus on real-world impact, and is always ready to tackle the next challenge
