About the Role
As the Global Resilience Manager, you will be instrumental in developing, managing, and delivering comprehensive resilience training and development programs tailored to our risk and security needs. In this role, you will focus on educating our workforce in resilience protocols and employee empowerment, while providing cross-functional support for high risk travel and external event security initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the crisis manager to develop and implement effective playbooks and training, ensuring that best practices in training and risk mitigation are executed seamlessly across our global locations.
This role will require up to 50% travel for support of global CorpSec responsibilities.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role, you will:
Develop, implement, and continuously improve global resilience programs that secure our workforce and support organizational risk priorities.
Partner closely with the High Risk Travel Manager to ensure employees traveling to elevated‑risk locations have the resources, briefings, and protocols needed to travel securely.
Support the External Events Manager by embedding resilience and access‑control best practices into event planning and execution, providing on‑the‑ground support as needed.
Partner with the Crisis Manager to develop and implement resilience training and crisis preparedness initiatives that ensure compliance with legally mandated Workplace Violence Protection requirements while enhancing employee empowerment and readiness.
Monitor evolving threat landscapes and leverage data, After‑Action Reviews, and stakeholder feedback to iterate and enhance resilience strategies.
Provide real‑time support during travel disruptions and event security incidents, coordinating cross‑functional response efforts.
Travel up to 50% of the time to facilitate on‑site program deployments, partner with regional teams, and deliver targeted support for elevated‑risk travel, global trainings, and event security operations.
You might thrive in this role if you:
Possess 10+ years of experience in developing and delivering training and educational programs within risk, resilience, or security environments.
Have at least 5 years of hands-on experience supporting specialized security functions, with a proven track record in modern executive protection, event security protocols, and travel security measures.
Exhibit a robust understanding of modern security practices and tools, including the integration of advanced technology solutions.
Are comfortable working in a dynamic, global environment that requires significant cross-functional collaboration and travel.
Exhibit excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills to foster a culture of continuous learning and preparedness.
