We are looking for an experienced full-stack Python engineer to join our platform team focusing on artificial intelligence (AI)/ machine learning (ML) Platform (AMP). This team builds and maintains central components to fast track the development new ML/AI models such as model development studio, feature store, model serving, model observability.
The ideal candidate would have a background in building full-stack web applications including front-end frameworks, back-end frameworks, database integrations, cloud deployments. You will collaborate with other full-stack engineer, ML Ops engineers in the team to build end-to-end web applications to handle internal user workflows. As an important contributor to our engineering team, you will help shape the future of our AI/ML capabilities, delivering solutions that inspire value for our organization.
Responsibilities
Front-end: Integrating with data portal with micro-front end architecture to add new widgets, forms, pages. Converting mock UI designs into implementations
Backend: Developing REST APIs for the user workflows which integrates with the front-end components using REST frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django
Database design: Define the database schema, migration scripts
Containerization: Building dockerized applications which can be deployed on different compute environments such as Kubernetes, ECS etc
Ownership: Taking end-to-end ownership at the feature level
Troubleshooting: Handling support requests from internal customers, troubleshooting the issues and timely communication
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across diverse teams, including MLOps engineers, full-stack engineers, DevOps, Product managers, software architects fostering a collaborative and cohesive work environment
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: Over 3-5 years of experience in software development and engineering, delivering production systems and services
Ability to develop full-stack web applications owning components from front-end, backend, database integrations, cloud deployments with the mentorship from senior engineers
Prior knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, TypeScript, Javascript
Ability to fluently translate the design into functional code in programming language (any one) Python, Golang
Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills with the ability to break down problems into manageable components
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fostering teamwork and effective information exchange
Desire learn new things and take new responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerisation, orchestration tools such as CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
Experience on Amazon AWS or Azure cloud
Exposure to UI component libraries such as mantine or equivalent.
Basic understanding of CSS, html
