As a Product Manager, Vice President on the Machine Learning & Optimization team, you are an integral part of the group that optimizes product features, models and AI capabilities for the Chase Digital Assistant and other conversational AI products. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing solutions that help more customers self-serve. Utilizing your expertise in NLP and AI-driven chatbot development, you will help guide the successful launch of conversational and model enhancements, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier customer experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product roadmap that delivers value to customers and drives business results
  • Manages discovery efforts to uncover experience and model optimization opportunities 
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as engagement, channel containment and satisfaction
  • Reviews conversational analysis in close partnership with Annotation and Analytics team to identify patterns, anomalies, opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborates, with Machine Learning engineers, data scientists and developers to integrate linguistic principles into development
  • Develops and maintains documentation on Natural Language Understanding processes, guidelines and best practices

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management 
  • 3+ years of experience in conversational AI, chatbot or AI/ML development
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Masters or PhD in Data Science or Linguistics
