Job Overview
As a Full Stack Platform Engineer at VolvoCars, you will develop and maintain our platform's front-end and back-end components, integrate AI solutions to enhance functionality, and ensure our infrastructure is efficient and scalable.

Key Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services.
- AI Integration: Implement and integrate AI and machine learning algorithms.
- Platform Optimization: Optimize the platform for quality, reliability, and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, DevOps engineers, and product managers.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
- Scalability: Develop scalable architecture to support a growing user base.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and fix bugs and performance issues.
- Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for features and systems.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

- 7-10+ years of engineering experience.
- Strong back-end development skills (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Solid background in algorithms, data structures, and OOP.
- Experience in scaling products at hyper-growth startups.
- Excitement to work with AI technologies.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular).
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Work across backend, frontend, and interact with LLMs and/or other ML models.
- Deliver experiments at a high velocity and quality to engage our customers.
