Position Overview

As a Field Sales Representative at Maneva, you will embark on an exciting, high-growth journey focused on establishing and scaling our early customer acquisition efforts in the local region. We seek a dynamic and results-driven business development professional with a proven track record in outside sales with a preference to the manufacturing sector. This role involves engaging with plant managers and technical teams to showcase the transformative value of our AI-driven solutions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, quality, and safety.  

Requirements

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Local Presence: Establish a strong foundation for selling Maneva in your assigned selling region.  
  • Execute the Sales Playbook: Build and enhance our partnerships and sales strategy from the ground up, supported by Maneva’s leadership. 
  • Client Engagement: Develop and nurture strong relationships with local manufacturing clients, gaining insights into their operational challenges and objectives. 
  • Opportunity Discovery: Conduct on-site or virtual assessments to pinpoint high-impact areas where AI solutions can deliver operational enhancements, such as quality control, waste reduction, production flow efficiency, and workplace safety. 
  • ROI Analysis: Partner with clients to analyze and present potential returns on investment for AI-powered visual cognitive tasks, illustrating clear financial benefits. 
  • Solution Consultation: Collaborate with internal AI solution specialists to tailor and recommend applications that address clients’ unique needs and drive measurable improvements. 
  • Business Development: Manage a robust pipeline of local manufacturing clients throughout all sales stages—from prospecting and presentations to negotiation and closing—aiming to expand business through effective solution sales. 
  • Training and Support: Facilitate onboarding and ongoing support for clients, guiding them through the AI deployment process to ensure seamless adoption of our solutions. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven field sales/outside sales experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector, with a strong record of successful client engagements. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients at various levels. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively assess and present tailored solutions. 
  • Travel Requirement: Must be able to travel three (3) days a week to prospect and client sites 
  • Valid driver's license 

Nice to haves:  

  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in manufacturing is a plus. 
  • Understanding of Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
