Expert Compliance Engineer (f/m/d)

Starting date: as soon as possible
Our compensation package:  €90,000 - €100,000 in yearly salary and €40,000 - €80,000 in equity. Additionally, up to €5,000 per year in company benefits

Your role

You define and drive the technical compliance of our products against international standards. You also understand the technical and regulatory requirements and safety to ensure integration and adherence to our products and consistent documentation throughout our portfolio.



Your day-to-day

As an Expert Compliance Engineer, you will work closely with our suppliers, engineers, and product managers to ensure the standard compliance of our products for the European and US markets. You are developing strategies and implementation plans for product compliance and quality control measures. Performing risk assessments and managing technical issues relating to product design are also part of your daily work.

Required Competencies

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, automation, or similar
  • Solid technical knowledge in automation systems and understanding of product design processes
  • At least 3 years of experience as a compliance engineer in industrial automation or similar industry
  • Solid knowledge of the European Machinery Directive and international standards, e.g., ISO-EN 60204-1, ISO-EN 13850, or ISO EN 12100
  • Proficiency in report writing, analysis, and compliance procedures.
  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • Skilled in communicating complex ideas verbally and in writing

  • You have experience with certifying automation systems for international markets.

  • You have worked in the food or agriculture industry before

  • You can read and understand technical drawings and electric schematics

  • You have profound knowledge of software compliance in industrial automation systems
