Job Description:

The ERP Developer is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining ERP applications to meet business requirements. They work closely with functional analysts, business users, and IT teams to ensure ERP systems function effectively and integrate seamlessly with other enterprise applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing, customizing, and enhancing ERP applications and modules.
  • Writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
  • Implementing system integrations between ERP and other enterprise applications.
  • Developing reports, dashboards, and data analytics solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging ERP system issues.
  • Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.
  • Collaborating with functional analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Documenting development work, including system specifications and technical guides.
  • Supporting testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Junior ERP Developer

  • Assisting in ERP system configurations and minor customizations.
  • Developing and testing simple reports and scripts.
  • Supporting data migration and validation activities.
  • Troubleshooting basic issues and working with senior developers for resolutions.
  • Gaining hands-on experience with ERP development tools and technologies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Certifications in ERP development (e.g., SAP ABAP Certification, Oracle Developer Certification, Workday Extend) are a plus.
  • Proficiency in ERP development languages such as:
    • SAP: ABAP, Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, BTP development.
    • Oracle E-Business Suite: PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, Workflow, OAF.
    • Oracle Cloud ERP: PaaS, ADF, Java, REST/SOAP APIs.
    • Workday: Workday Studio, Workday Extend, BIRT.
  • Experience with ERP integration technologies such as REST APIs, SOAP, OData, and middleware solutions.
  • Strong database management skills, including SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools (e.g., SAP BW, Oracle BI, Workday Reporting).
  • Familiarity with ERP security, role-based access control (RBAC), and compliance.
  • Understanding of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices in ERP development.
