About this role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead the development of our internal AI/ML Studio, a low-code/no-code platform that empowers all of Wells Fargo employees to easily experiment, build, and deploy Gen AI-powered solutions. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI democratization within our company and drive significant business impact by making AI accessible to a broader range of users. You will be building a self-service experience enabling rapid prototyping and solution development without requiring extensive coding expertise.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the latest AI developments, have a blend human-centered design mindset, business analytical skills, deep technology expertise, and be transformational leader in delivering value to our business and customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting the User Experience design and product strategy, guiding the product development teams, and ensuring the alignment of product features with strategic business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of AI and Cloud technologies, coupled with the ability to work effectively across teams to launch innovative and user-centric products.

In this role, you will lead:

  • Product Vision and Strategy - Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Studio, focusing on creating a user-friendly, intuitive, and powerful low-code/no-code experience

  • Customer-centric Design - Deeply understand the needs and workflows of diverse internal users, including business analysts, subject matter experts, and citizen developers, as well as data scientists and ML engineers. Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform product design

  • Product Roadmap and Planning - Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that outlines key milestones, deliverables, and timelines. Prioritize features and enhancements based on stakeholder input, business impact, and strategic importance

  • Cross-functional Leadership and Delivery - Lead cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and designers, to develop and deliver the AI platform. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment to ensure the successful execution of the product vision

  • Stakeholder Management - Work effectively with stakeholders across business units, engineering, data science, security, and legal teams to ensure alignment and gather feedback

  •  Go-to-Market & Adoption: Develop and execute a plan to drive internal adoption and usage of the AI/ML Studio, including training and documentation

  •  Performance Monitoring & Iteration: Track key metrics for platform usage, user satisfaction, and business impact. Use data and feedback to continuously improve the platform's usability and effectiveness

  •  Keep up-to-date with industry standards

Required Qualifications:  

  • 7+ years of Artificial Intelligence Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years focused on building low-code/no-code platforms, visual development tools, or user-facing AI/ML products

  • 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

             
Desired Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree or higher in operations research, applied statistics, economics, computer science, electrical engineering or a related discipline

  • 7+ years of product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of team leadership or management experience

  • 3 + years of experience creating and implementing strategic plans and roadmaps at the executive level for enterprise-wide business initiatives

  • Experience using Design Thinking methods to develop business solutions

  • Experience building platforms in a large enterprise environment.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience with Generative AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models).

  • Experience with LLMOps / MLOps tools and practices.

  • Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams

  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience

  • Strong negotiation and leadership abilities
