About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director – Public Sector to lead sales efforts
targeting federal and other government-oriented clients. This role is responsible for developing
and executing strategic sales initiatives, driving revenue growth, and contributing as an
individual contributor within a high-performing sales team. This role will be working in
partnership with our reseller and distribution partners across Windward offerings to new and
existing customers, across multiple agencies.
Reporting to the VP of Public Sector Sales, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in
achieving sales targets within a SaaS company, and strong leadership skills to build effective
relationships internally with R&D, marketing, product, etc. so our customers' expectations are
routinely exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
● Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth in the U.S. public
sector.
● Lead large-scale sales efforts to government institutions, ensuring alignment with
procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
● Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in government
agencies and channel partners.
● Effectively communicate value propositions that address government challenges and drive
adoption of SaaS solutions.
● Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to refine
sales strategies.
● Accurately forecast sales performance and drive pipeline growth through prospecting,
qualifying, and closing deals.
Required Experience & Qualifications
● 5+ years of experience selling technology SaaS solutions to the U.S. public sector.
● Proven track record of large-scale government sales with demonstrable revenue success.
● Strong technical acumen with the ability to align technology solutions with business
value.
● Experience in forecasting, prospecting, and closing high-value deals.
● Ability to build and nurture partnerships within the government ecosystem.
● Active U.S. security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one (preferred).
● Experience working in a global company (preferred).
