What you'll be able to do:

Ford Motor Company is seeking a talented and passionate Deep Learning Engineer with a strong interest and expertise in machine learning and computer vision technologies. As a key member of our advanced research and development team, you will be responsible for driving innovation in autonomous vehicles and enhancing the safety and intelligence of Ford's cutting-edge automotive solutions. As a deep learning engineer, you would collaborate with perception experts and experienced roboticist to build solutions that scale from the lab to the customer. You will be working towards designing and implementing state of the art and beyond solutions in machine learning such as 3D object detection, instance segmentation, and 3D perception.

Deep Learning Research Engineer positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Palo Alto, CA).

You'll have:

• Requires a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field 
• 6 months of experience in the position offered or 6 months of experience working with at least one of the autonomous vehicle sensing systems including cameras, radar, lidar, GPS, or IMUs. 
• 6 months of experience developing deep learning models
• 6 months of experience working with Robot Operating System
• 6 months of experience working with software development tools and environments
• 6 months of experience working with Localization and Mapping techniques
• 6 months of experience developing code in Python and C++
• 6 months of experience working with deep learning frameworks
• 6 months of experience working with large-scale datasets
• 6 months of experience using deep learning models, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs), or Autoencoders
• Position reports to Palo Alto, CA office. Company offers flexible work from home schedule, but in-office work is required and individual must live within commuting distance of stated office
• Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.

We are offering a salary of $120,016 to $176,239 per year.
