PGC (Professionally Generated Content) is one of TikTok's key business directions. It satisfies users' differentiated consumption demands by providing professional content. The PGC business is divided into several core modules, including creator growth strategies, posts and content management tools, content distribution strategies, and creator monetization strategies.

The primary role of a Data Scientist for our Data team is to conduct deep analysis into user behavior, product features and content ecosystem to generate business insights that could be applied to actionable improving initiatives. You will work closely with cross-function teams, such as Product Management, Research and Development, Machine Learning Engineering, to improve user experience and fulfill growth of TikTok in all different regions.

Responsibilities - What You'll Do
- Collaborate with MLE to enhance the efficiency of the recommendation system and improve user experience.
- Utilize data science methods to assess the creator rewards program's progress and develop new strategies.
- Develop experimental methodologies to evaluate the impact of two-sided market dynamics.
- Create a metrics framework to monitor product health, track core metrics, and identify the root causes of metric changes.
- Utilize causal inference and discovery to evaluate causality in non-experimental contexts.
