The candidate must have strong analytic and programming skills.The candidate will be embedded in the Data Science department but will have close collaboration with theMolecular Biology unit’s System Sustainment, R&D, and Innovationteams. Therefore, the candidate must havestrong communicationskills andadesire to work in a highly collaborative environment. Studies and Experience:
M.S. in a quantitative discipline:Bioinformatics,Data Science,Statistics, Mathematics,Computational Biology,Physics, Computer Science, Engineering.
3+ years industry experience as abioinformatician,data scientist,mathematician, or statistician.
Programming proficiency in one or more of the following: R, Python, BASH, C++, JAVA,C#, or SQL.
Skills and Qualifications:
Good communication, writing, and presentation skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Practical experience in any of the following: bioinformatics analysis, bioinformaticspipelines, data science analysis, software development, data cleaning and processing,data visualization, probability, statistics, machine learning, image analysis, linear algebra, and optimization methods.
