Data Scientist - Analytics II, Product

Introduction to the Team

As part of the Supply Partner Product Analytics and Experimentation team at EG, we help deliver and refine meaningful applications and products for our diverse suppliers! Specifically, engage with business, strategy, product and tech teams working on compelling platforms, tools and adaptive experiences. You will contribute to product improvements through reporting and analyses using diverse statistical methods, such as AB experiments, valuation models and behavioral segmentation. You will work closely with other highly skilled analysts across EG, partnering with our Product and Engineering teams as well as colleagues across Machine Learning, Finance and Strategy. 

In this role you will:

  • Define key metrics used to monitor product performance in collaboration with stakeholders and build reporting to monitor product performance and effectiveness. Understand drivers of performance evolution and run analyses leading to action recommendations 
  • Build data pipelines from clickstream sources in collaboration with data engineering. Extract data from multiple data sources and combine them into the required datasets for model building or analytics 
  • Design complex experimentations and AB testing, and implement data science models such as incrementality, clustering, impact analysis - to find opportunities to optimize performance 
  • Build clear, concise and well-structured documentation and presentations. Tailor communications for different audiences as appropriate 
  • Grow and learn - stretch your knowledge and learn more about the business, supporting teams, new data, tools and processes 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • You have 3+ years of related work experience  
  • You are proficient in SQL and have experience with Python  
  • You have experience with A/B Testing and statistical analysis 
  • You have familiarity with data exploration and visualization tools like Tableau 
  • An experienced team member with a collaborative and proactive spirit 
  • A good communicator with an understanding of partner management skills 
  • Enjoy intellectual challenges, statistics and logical problem solving 
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $112,000.00 to $156,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $179,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
