The Position

Your department

We are 100+ biostatisticians and data scientists with the ambition to promote the development of diagnostic assays and their use in clinical practice by providing the appropriate quantitative methods for clinical study design and data analyses.
By combining our statistical knowledge with a profound understanding of the question at hand we extract actionable information from data and present these customer-tailored and comprehensively. 

Your Team

Our team is highly interested in creating innovative solutions to new and traditional challenges in the analysis of data. We are strongly involved in early biomarker discovery projects. We aim to identify new biomarkers or create clinical algorithms to solve unmet medical needs.
To reach our goals we work with data from clinical trials as well as real world data.


In all our projects we are in close collaboration with our colleagues from clinical science, clinical operation, business, and assay development.

Your objectives/ tasks

  • Data mining, exploratory data analysis, and to integrate analytics into the established framework (SQL, Tableau, R, python)

  • Expand on and use existing Tableau reports to supply reports for internal customers

  • Develop new (Tableau based) dashboards tailored to customers’ needs

  • Perform in-house consulting to react to requests from customers or product developmentEnd-2-end project management for our digital solutions: requirements engineering, development of (Tableau-based) solutions, documentation, training

Your ideal profile

  • Completed master's degree (preferably with PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics or related field

  • Experience in evaluating big data and excellent knowledge of data mining techniques

  • Background in life sciences and medicine

  •  Experience in SQL programming

  • Good experience in statistical software tools such as R or Python.

  • Experienced in visualization tools (especially Tableau)

  • Experience in managing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server is a plusBusiness fluent English skills required
