Key Responsibilities

In this challenging yet rewarding role as a Data Scientist (SME level), you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:

• Linux, Unix, or Microsoft Windows operating systems.  
• Building and optimizing big ‘data’ data pipelines, architectures, and datasets.  
• Building, testing, and maintaining database pipeline architectures. 
• Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management. 
• Manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large disconnected datasets. 
• Data warehousing solutions. 
• Developing data validation methods and data analysis tools. 
• Compliance, data governance, and security policies. 
• Working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data to include data parsing, transformation, schema analysis, and query/analysis. 
• SQL and working with relational databases. 
• Python, JavaScript for web/html development. 
• Using big data tools.                                                                                          
• Program management framework. 

Highly Desired Qualifications

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:

• Working on Amazon Web Services environments or other cloud service providers (CSP) environments. 
• Building, instrumenting, and monitoring analytic pipelines. 
• Using Python to deliver operational ML capabilities. 
• Distributed data and data computing tools. 
• Amazon Web Services infrastructure or other cloud service providers (CSP) infrastructure. 
• Data science capabilities native to Amazon Web Services or other cloud service providers (CSP). 
• Working with Linux command line (bash). 
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in an IT discipline
