Job description:

ESG Specialist team are set of skilled and domain knowledge individuals who build and maintain the content currently covered on existing databases and test future database, tools and systems.  The Specialist team drives automation and simplification to bring in efficient processes and quality of updates within ESG Operations.

The successful applicant will be working in an agile environment and will work on projects to deliver automation and process simplifications solutions.

Roles, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver Business process improvements resulting in efficiency and quality via automations and simplifications within Operations.
  • Use data to develop solutions tailored to meet the organization's unique needs.
  • Able to extract data from multiple sources, using machine learning tools to organize data, process, clean, and validate the data, analyze for information and patterns, develop prediction systems, present the data in a clear manner, and propose solutions and strategies.
  • Analysis of data and providing relevant insight
  • Collaborate with the Business, and IT teams to ensure proposed solutions and strategies are implemented.
  • Provide expertise and creativity in developing new methods of working which focus on cost effectiveness & resource efficiency.
  • Build talent pool of Citizen Developers by providing training and on the job assistance.
  • Develop expertise on new content management tools & infrastructure and implement the same in the operations processes.
  • Provide specifications for the new technology solutions & infrastructures, helping for the implementations, monitoring & testing.
  • Experience in all aspects of project & program life cycles; ability to operate in waterfall or agile approach.
  • Prioritization and requirements alignment across competing demand from Stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  •  Skills such as programming, communication, organizational, mathematical, data analysis, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Expertise developing and delivering automations using Python.
  • Should be proficient with using at least one of the technologies like VBA, SQL, JAVA, RPA to drive Business Process Improvements.
  • Data Science knowledge.
  • Exposure to management of financial content.
  • Should be able to adopt new technologies quickly and be able to mentor others in the team.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of LSEG proprietary systems for automations including LEAD & DEMING.
  • Understanding of ESG content and marketplace.
  • Understanding of 6 sigma principles.

Education:

  • Data Science Certification or
  • Software Engineer or study in computer science discipline or
  • Any discipline of study along with expertise in programming languages like Python, VBA, SQL etc.
