Shipt, Inc. seeks a full-time Data Scientist based in San Francisco, CA. The primary duty of the Data Scientist is to shape and grow marketing intelligence through paid media optimization, experimentation, and web tracking. This position will drive company growth and acquisition. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantitative Management, Business Analytics, Data Analysis, or a related field and one (1) year of experience or post-secondary coursework in data analytics. Must also have experience or post-secondary coursework with each of the following: 1) performing structured qualitative and quantitative marketing analysis, interpret and synthesize data resulting in business recommendations; 2) managing different types of data and developing appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for monitoring and measurement; 3) digital marketing tools and measurement of user engagement; 4) utilizing various research methodologies such as A/B testing, causal impact, and regression analysis; 5) customer segmentation and cohort analysis, and distilling findings into clear data-backed presentations, data visualizations, and/or infographics; 6) applying an understanding data infrastructure; and 7) utilizing Python or R, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau. All experience may have been gained concurrently and may have been gained during post-secondary coursework. Salary $98,155 to $145,110/year.
