As a programmer, you know that machine learning (ML) is critical to understanding and processing massive datasets. Your ability to conduct statistical analyses on business processes using ML techniques makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused solution. We need your technical knowledge and desire to problem-solve to support our Intelligence Community clients with their most complex technical challenges. As a machine learning engineer on our National Security team, you’ll train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data.
In this role, you’ll contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and technologies. You’ll grow within a large community of machine learning engineers across the firm and collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and project owners to deliver world-class solutions to real-world problems. Your consulting skills and technical experience will help your clients navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.

You Have:
2+ years of experience in ML, data science, computer science, or computational engineering
2+ years of experience working in major scripting languages, including Python, Java, R, or C++
1+ years of experience researching and developing operational concepts in artificial intelligence, ML, mathematical or statistical models, and data exploration, analysis, and synthesis
1+ years of experience developing advanced methods and techniques to store, manipulate, transform, and present information in support of all-source intelligence analysis and production
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Statistics
Nice If You Have:
Experience supporting the development of intelligence products from varied, multi-source, and large data sources
Experience developing scripts, procedures, and processes for extracting and processing data using existing tools and capabilities to derive data-driven analytic insights to support mission requirements
Knowledge of containerized deployment, including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
Ability to learn new programming languages
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Master's degree preferred; Doctorate degree a plus
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
