Data Scientist (Innovation Lab)

The role:

The data scientist will take part in the implementation of new and strategic platform which offers GenAi capabilities such as inference, fine tune, data curation, data labelling and more.
 

We are seeking a highly skilled Generative AI (Gen AI) data scientist to design, develop and deploy state-of-the-art scalable, efficient Gen AI solutions. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of developing and implementing Gen AI systems, including experience with fine-tuning, with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation) and other techniques.

You will collaborate closely with business partners and stakeholders to introduce and embrace these advanced technologies, elevating client experiences, delivering value to our customers, and ensuring regulatory compliance through cutting-edge technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement Gen AI solutions with a focus on fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and other techniques
• Research and Development: Lead and participate in research activities to explore and advance state-of-the-art generative AI techniques, including ability to research and adopt new techniques and approaches.
• Monitoring Ongoing Research: Stay actively engaged in monitoring ongoing research efforts, keeping abreast of emerging trends, and ensuring that the Generative AI team remains at the forefront of the field.
• Define tests and experiments that aim to assess the relevancy and feasibility of GenAI solutions to business use cases
• Grow our catalogue of common assets, such as code templates, libraries, utilities, services, etc.

Experience & Qualifications

• Strong experience as a data scientist
• Proven track record of building and deploying Gen AI solutions, particularly with Fine Tune, or RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and related techniques.
• M.Sc or Ph.D in Mathematics/Computer Science/Economics/Statistics or equivalent
• Background in finance is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of a variety of AI/GenAi techniques
• You must be highly proficient in Python and relevant libraries
• You must be experienced with data visualization tools
• You should know how to balance between theory and practice
• Self-motivated and team player that has the drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
• Independence and ownership, ability to come up with innovative solutions and evaluate them quickly
• Excellent communication skills.
• You are eager to grow your skills
