The Position

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our Strategic Program department at Roche Diagnostics.K.K. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analysing and optimising resource allocation and effectiveness, as well as utilising all available data within the company to drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to evaluate resource allocation and effectiveness.

- Make or provide the consultation of a master data policy and install it to the relevant departments.

- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources within the company.

- Perform exploratory data analysis and visualise data insights to support strategic initiatives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.

- Monitor and assess the implementation of strategic programs using data-driven approaches.

- Create dashboards and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and apply them to improve existing processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.

- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL. Experience of using Dataiku is preferred 

- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau.

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
