Euronext Corporate Services is a fully integrated division of Euronext, including all the resources to pursue its business activities: Revenue, Growth Marketing, Product, Technology & Operations, Client Services and Transformation. It also relies on Euronext support functions to accompany its growth.

Role and Key Accountabilities

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets to provide actionable insights, developing predictive models, and contributing to the overall data strategy. The accountability includes:

• Lead and manage data science projects from concept to deployment.
• Be hands-on to build and maintain the data platform from the pipeline itself to the documentation, dictionary, and critical support processes.
• Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches.
• Develop, test, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms.
• Own the process of gathering, extracting, and compiling data across sources via relevant tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python). Independently format, re-structure, and/or validate data to ensure quality, and review the dataset to ensure it is ready for analysis.
• Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and the presentation of data to develop strategies for our products .
• Mentor other data engineers, drive excellency and software craftsmanship within the team and across the organization
• Establish a data-driven culture by driving the definition, tracking, and operationalizing of metrics.
• Develop data visualizations and socialize dashboards, reports, and other ways of enabling the team and company to answer product data questions in a self-serve way.
• Partner with other data scientists across the company to share knowledge and continually synthesizing learnings across the organization.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Knowledge, Personality, Skills and Experience Required

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in data science, dba role or related field.
• Excellent understanding of relational databases and NoSQL databases, performance tuning and database optimization.
• Expertise in data integration techniques, including ETL processes, data pipelines, and data synchronization.
• Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Proven hands-on programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Excellent understanding of Column-Store RDBMS (DataBricks, Snowflake, Redshift, Vertica, Clickhouse).
• Extensive knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and data privacy regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to handle large datasets and perform data wrangling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen analytical mindset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various levels,  Fluency in English.
