Role’s mission

The Worldpanel division of Kantar Group is seeking a Data Scientist to join our tech teams. Our mission is to drive a successful transition to Cloud solutions, delivering innovative and efficient ways to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

Joining a collaborative and high-spirited team, you'll support production and statistical research teams in developing and refining processes. As a trusted advisor to prestigious French and international consumer goods brands, you'll operate in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment. Your role will be pivotal in leveraging Kantar's innovations, expertise, and solutions to meet current and future demands.

Key outcomes

  • Guarantee the migration of SAS/WPS processes to R and/or Python, ensuring seamless transition and enhanced efficiency in data processing.
  • Analyse customer requirements comprehensively to develop and deliver tailored software solutions, addressing specific business needs effectively.
  • Drive innovation by championing the adoption of cutting-edge technologies such as big data, Azure cloud, and AI, proposing transformative solutions to optimize business operations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to proactively identify and resolve customer issues, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Key Capabilities

Your background will ideally look like this…

  • University Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent fields.
  • Business proficiency in English (B2 Level Minimum required).
  • Native proficiency in French (C2 Level).
  • Significant previous experience in Data Science and/or Engineering roles.
  • Comfortable proficiency in R programming is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing solutions on cloud-based platforms – experience with Azure Cloud is a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience with SQL and SAS/WPS will be highly appreciated.
  • Professional experience with Python programming and libraries although not mandatory will be appreciated.
