MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages architect, analyst, and data science/statistical resources for applying advanced analytics to operations.
- Engages extensively with senior leaders, executives, and clinician leaders from across the enterprise in support of responsible applications of artificial intelligence (AI).
- Facilitates accurate data set creation for data scientists and statisticians, assisting to identify key variables used in modeling and analysis.
- Creates clear and concise analysis plans and documentation to report analytic findings and recommendations to business users and leaders.
- Ensures analytic projects are aligned with a business problem and evaluates the impact of AI solutions to patients, clinicians, and providers.
- Tracks AI solutions post implementation to ensure ongoing evaluation of model effectiveness is conducted and reported.
- Researches potential vendor AI solutions, assists with coordinating vendor collaborations.
Level of Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in data science, economics, statistics or related field, additional Master’s degree preferred
Years of Experience:
Typically requires 7 years of experience working in business intelligence, analytics, applications of artificial intelligence, including working with healthcare data
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong analytical thinker able discern business needs and match to applicable advanced analytics options.
- Self-starter comfortable taking initiative and making decisions on the best available information.
- Detail oriented with ability to handle complexity and focus on key project objectives.
- Knowledge of data science and statistical methodologies and tools, with proficiency querying data.
- Strong communication skills with demonstated ability to describe advanced statistical and data science concepts to leaders, and describe impact of analytic findings/models on operations.
- Team oriented with ability to lead diverse analytic resources.
- Demonstrated awareness and sensitivity to the issues of using AI in a health care setting.

Pay Range
$53.80 - $80.70
