We are looking for a Data Scientist Team Lead to lead our data science team and enhance the Data & Analytics strategy at Allianz Spain. This key role will drive data science projects that generate business value and improve corporate decision-making.

What will you do in the team?

• Lead and manage a team of data scientists to drive the Data & Analytics strategy of Allianz Spain.
• Develop and execute data science projects that generate business value and improve decision-making in the company.
• Collaborate closely with other internal teams to identify opportunities for data science application in areas such as underwriting, claims, marketing, and operations.
• Design and oversee the implementation of predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and artificial intelligence solutions.
• Contribute to the development of the company’s data strategy, including the management and optimization of data infrastructure and architecture.

What does the team need from you?

• University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field (Master’s and/or Ph.D. valued).
• Proven experience in managing data science teams and implementing data science projects in a business environment.
• Experience in deploying and applying MLOps methodologies (Experience in AzureML or similar highly valued)
• Solid knowledge in predictive modeling techniques, machine learning, data mining, and statistical analysis.
• Experience in using programming tools and languages such as Python and SQL, and in using data science libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience in using cloud environments (Azure highly valued) to implement data science solutions and manage data infrastructure in the cloud.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical audiences
• Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with leadership and project management skills.
