At ASML, the On-product Overlay Control Group aims at ensuring optimal Overlay performance by providing holistic control solutions to our customers. Overlay is a measure of the misalignment between two consecutive lithography layers and as such, it represents one of the most critical KPIs for our customers. The goal of this assignment is to explore new modeling techniques for a given set of overlay measurement data.
For this internship, you will extend a Self-Supervised Learning solution for Overlay modeling, currently in prototype stage. You will touch all the steps of a production-grade Feasibility study. From the context and business understanding, to the data preparation, all the way through the modeling and visualization steps. In the end you will benchmark the solution against best known Fingerprint Capture methods.
To be a perfect match for this internship, you:
Are a master student in Computer Science, Data Science, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field
Have strong statistical/modeling background and strong programming skills in Python (Object oriented programming, SOLID principles, encapsulation, etc.).
Know how to use version control in Git. You possess an Intermediate knowledge of MATLAB. Fluent in data wrangling with Pandas.
Are familiar with the PyTorch deep learning framework and are interested in lithography process.
Are a self-driven personality who is willing to take ownership of your scope. You have clear presentation skills a positive mindset and are curious, assertive and easygoing.
This is a master apprentice or graduation internship with a duration of 6 to 12 months, for 4-5 days a week, starting January/February 2025.
