Description

You'll build cutting-edge AI agents empowered by Large Language Models (LLMs) for healthcare applications. Your role will be pivotal in unlocking new realms of possibility, enabling these systems to accomplish tasks previously deemed unattainable. We seek impact-driven individuals who have deep roots in building participants facing healthcare applications using AIML and possess strong engineering skills and agile mindset in building / improving prototypes of conversational agents. 

Responsibilities

  • Participant in the design, development, and implementation of AI agents powered by LLM.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and LLM technology.
  • Prototype and iterate on algorithms and models to optimize performance and accuracy.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a PhD or Master's program in a quantitative discipline (e.g., biomedical engineering, computer science, statistics, computational biology, applied mathematics, or similar) with an anticipated graduation date on or before the end of 2025.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Experience with LLM models, including prompting, fine-tuning and retrieval augmented generation (RAG).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with software engineering principles and experience deploying algorithms in production environments.
  • Experience developing deep learning algorithms using TensorFlow or PyTorch, and knowledge of latest architectures.
  • Prior track record of success working cross-functionally on teams and building strong relationships with internal peers.
  • Creative and methodical problem solving: understand needs, identify options, form hypotheses, make decisions, and learn faster through feedback.

The US base pay range for this intern position is $50.48-$61.06. Our pay ranges are determined by role, education level, experience, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay ranges for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
