We’re seeking a skilled Data Analytics Group Manager to lead and inspire a team of professionals. This role is key to managing complex and critical professional areas within our organization. You’ll play a vital role in strategy, planning, and execution while fostering collaboration across multiple functions. Responsibilities
• Lead the design and implementation of tactical and strategic data analytics initiatives to support organizational goals.
• Act as the subject matter expert in strategic data analysis, delivering actionable insights and clear communication of complex analyses.
• Define service models for new data products, ensuring alignment with business needs across various regions and functions.
• Build and present business cases to support strategic investments in data analytics products and capabilities.
• Drive data inclusion in strategic business forums and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.
• Manage product investment and resource planning, ensuring portfolio balance and capacity optimization.
• Develop and prioritize a pipeline of product improvements and innovations, focusing on commercial value and feasibility.
• Map and analyze the full lifecycle of data products, ensuring efficiency and alignment from origination to revenue realization.
• Ensure robust risk management practices, maintaining compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Lead a team or multiple teams, including hiring, performance evaluations, budget management, and fostering accountability.
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in data analytics or related fields, with a proven track record in leading data analyses teams.
• 3+ years of experience as a people manager, with the ability to inspire, guide, and develop team members.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python at a functional level, with the ability to support data-driven projects.
• Knowledge of AML typology and the ability to apply this understanding in data initiatives.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication skills.
• A challenging mindset, with the ability to question assumptions and drive innovation.
• Capacity to deliver independently, balancing strategic vision with tactical execution.
• Familiarity with statistical modelling of large data sets and data visualization tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of modern data technologies and their application to solve business challenges.
