Position Summary

This role is acting as GCC India Conversational AI Team Lead. It involves leading a team of local Conversational AI Ops Engineers, who work towards developing and deploying effective Chart- & Voicebots that meet the specific local needs of Allianz Partners BUs. In this position one will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, understanding their requirements and designing and building conversational AI systems that integrate with their existing technologies and core systems, such as CRM. Additionally, one will test and optimize these solutions to ensure they deliver a high-quality user experience.
To excel in this role, the candidate should have a profound understanding of Conversational AI frameworks and technologies, along with experience in Java Script, APIs, and other relevant technologies. Other key responsibilities include following processes and procedures for building and deploying and maintaining Conversational AI solutions, providing technical guidance and support to AzP stakeholders during the development and operations of their Conversational AI use cases.
Overall, the GCC India Conversational AI Team Lead is responsible for helping Allianz Partners BUs leverage the power of conversational AI to improve customer engagement, increase efficiency, and drive growth.

With strong focus on digital innovation, AzP Operations undergo a fast transformation with new channels and technologies being implemented simultaneously. In that context, the Operations Conversational AI team needs to connect and align with Business and Process Owners to bring new AI based solutions into existing processes. As technology and processes evolve, this area will maintain a close and frequent communication to other Global functions and local Business Units to continuously enhance processes and solutions. Support the change management of the local Business Units towards adoption and active use of the new tools. Build up a global cross-LoB operations team based on follow-the-sun principle working on same tools, methods, and systems across the globe.

Key Responsibility

  • Lead the designing and developing conversational flows, user interfaces and integration points/ extensions for Chat- & Voicebots
  • Support Conversational AI operations projects with expertise and resources when require
  • Assure stable and SLA compliant run of AP Conversational initiatives - Escalate execution risks and issues appropriately
  • Collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that solutions are designed to be scalable, reliable, and maintainable
  • Establish close ties with other related AP teams (e.g. Central Bot Center of Competence and regional bot developers) - Contribute and support development of innovative features to drive productivity and customer excellence
  • Steer efficient delivery of BU service requests for short time-to-market lead times and highest possible quality
  • Documenting technical changes and operational processes.

Qualification & Education 

  • Experience in developing conversational Chat- & Voicebots using Cognigy, Infobip or similar conversational AI platforms   
  • Expertise in conversational Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Coding skills (e.g. Python, Java Script)
  • Profound experience in large-scale enterprise infrastructure and application landscape
  • Previous experience of operating in an international and large organization, incl. proven cultural sensitivity in order to fit into a multinational setup
  • Successfully completed degree in (business) computer science, (business) engineering, economics with computer science or comparable courses
  • Conversational AI Platform certification (Infobip, Cognigy etc.) is a plus
