Description and Responsibilities of the Role: •Understand the design concept and intent by reviewing construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, vendor submittals and sequences of operations.
•Provide recommendations and feedback regarding the design, equipment selection, pre-functional checklists, startup and functional test scripts, maintainability, and constructability enhancements.
•Develop and review of QA/QC pre-functional checklists, start-up and functional test scripts for BMS, DCOS, FAS, FPS, RRS, Access & Security System, CPM, WLD, CCTV Etc..
•Travel to sites for site reviews and work with on-site commissioning engineers, as well as provide engineering evaluations and startup as needed.
•Review documentation for compliance with client standards, industry standards, and design specifications.
•Assess the capability of commissioned systems to match the design intent.
•Verify the system’s performance, including establishing acceptance criteria, obtaining completed reports, performing verification and spot checking for validation.
•Assist in as-built documentation and review for accuracy and completeness.
•Undertake Factory Witness Testing on behalf of the client.
•Communicate commissioning issues, questions and concerns through proper channels in a timely manner.
•Develop project specific commissioning schedules and plans.
•Conduct commissioning coordination meetings as needed with project management and commissioning representatives.
•Track commissioning issues until resolved and closed.
•Represent CAI at project specific commissioning coordination meetings.
•Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally for up to 60% of the time.
Qualifications: •Minimum 5- 7 years’ experience in commissioning of ELV systems.
•Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel and Outlook required; advanced knowledge of SharePoint (or similar) preferred.
•Ability to read and understand construction documents (design drawings, control diagrams, specifications, etc.).
•Advanced knowledge of SCADA, Modbus, TCP/IP, BACnet systems verification.
•Advanced knowledge of cause & Effect verification of Data centers.
•Advanced knowledge of monitoring, automation and control protocol or equivalent of Data centers.
•Advanced knowledge of the workings of PLC programming.
•Detailed understanding of technical international standards and demonstrate experience in commissioning and delivery of large Data center projects.
•Advantage if worked within Data Centre environments/clients.
•Degree qualified advantageous but not essential. Must have strong proven exposure to ELV commissioning either way.
