What You Will Do 

We're seeking a talented and motivated Computer Vision Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll focus on the core principles of computer vision, developing and implementing algorithms to extract meaningful information from images and videos. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers to bring innovative computer vision solutions to life.

  • Assist in developing state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms for Trimble’s large scale software products

  • Implement and optimize computer vision, image processing algorithms for construction applications

  • Work closely with senior engineers to understand project requirements and contribute to development plans

  • Conduct technical research on computer vision methods and best practices

  • Participate in testing and debugging computer vision applications to ensure accuracy and performance

​What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Geomatics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Minimum two years of experience in developing computer vision algorithms in areas related to 3D reconstruction, SLAM, object detection and tracking, or camera calibration

  • Proficient in image processing algorithms and multiple view geometry using camera

  • Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, particularly in Python

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

What Skills & Experience You Could Bring

  • Experience in cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.)

  • Experience in C++ programming

  • Experience in SLAM algorithms

  • Experience in Machine Learning

  • Proficient with ROS
