The GPU/Accelerators offering is a critical component of HPE Compute portfolio as it serves the growing AI market. We seek a GPU/AI Principal Product Manager to develop and deliver a leadership GPU/Accelerator offering for AI, in collaboration with stakeholders, to drive market share growth in the datacenter and at the edge for HPE Compute servers and solutions.

The ideal candidate must possess a profound understanding of GPU/Accelerator technologies, AI market requirements and direction, and GPU/Accelerator-centric workloads for AI. Applicants should also understand HPE’s server portfolio and positioning. The candidate must be able to listen to customer input and translate it into product directions. This position will closely collaborate with value-chain teams within HPE, with a crucial alignment with server product management teams, solutions teams, and regional business units to define and deliver GPU/Accelerator offerings that bolster our market position.

We seek a Principal Product Manager to spearhead the GPU/AI portfolio within Compute, a critical role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Focuses on developing and delivering a leadership GPU/Accelerators offering in collaboration with stakeholders to propel market share growth for HPE Compute in AI. This role leads business management and strategy for the category.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a 5-year GPU/Accelerator strategy plan.

  • Synthesize industry, technology, and customer knowledge in the Product Requirements Document (PRD), collaborating closely with platform and solutions teams to define the optimal portfolio.

  • Define an AI GPU/Accelerator portfolio closely aligned with our solution offerings, collaborating on marketing the optimal offering that supports market adoption in both the data center and the Edge, as well as the Corporate aaS strategy.

  • Set the business metrics and execute towards GPU/Accelerator portfolio success, able to adapt to demand changes with an emphasis on cost tracking and lifecycle management, including obsolescence.

  • Integrate with the GPU/Accelerator core team, ensuring a timely market presence with a portfolio compatible with the right platforms. Implement ongoing communications with key stakeholders in the rapidly changing market of AI.

  • Collaborate and drive sales enablement activities with partners, focusing on solution, business, and partnership growth opportunities.

  • Use subject matter expertise to collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams and train key stakeholders.

  • Understand industry dynamics and drive a competitive strategy.

  • Have an impact at the Director level and above, spanning workgroups.

  • Look forward and keep abreast of new vendors, technologies, and solutions for AI.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study with a minimum of 10 years of experience. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

  • Understanding of GPUs/Accelerators and their role in AI, both in the datacenter, edge, and far edge.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of GPU/Accelerator technologies, offerings, and understanding of customer requirements for solutions.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extensive team skills and the ability to cross functionally drive/influence work through others, as well as the ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects.

  • Solid business acumen to drive cost efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation, and analysis.

  • Business and technical knowledge of the portfolio and use cases, capable of training presales, sales, and channel partners.

  • Command of tools such as OTT, iCost, Power BI, and OCA is preferred.
