As an Applied AI ML Senior Associate, in our Business Modeling AI Operations team, you will work on developing cutting-edge models and systems to serve our customers and internal agents supporting the bank’s operations .

Job Responsibilities

  • Apply deep natural language processing (NLP) knowledge and experience and critical thinking skills and perform advanced analytics with the goal of solving complex and multi-faceted business problems.
  • Generate deep insights through the analysis of data and understanding of the bank’s operations that are both external and internal facing and turn them into actionable recommendations.
  • Contribute to the full product development lifecycle, including defining the objective and key product deliverables.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor in system development, computer algorithms, NLP and machine learning.
  • Contribute to the continuous learning mindset of the organization by bringing in new knowledge, ideas, and perspectives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science; Advanced programming skills of 5 years (PhD, or masters + 3 years industrial) on more than 1 programming language. 
  • Open to learn different programming languages seamlessly. 
  • Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability of thinking outside the box.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills to present analytical findings and exercise influence among key project stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Ph.D. is preferred or master’s degree with research experience.
  • Familiarity with big-data environments (e.g. Hadoop, Spark) and code development experience on a cloud development platform.
  • Experience in developing large-scale machine learning solutions based on big data to solve real world problems (e.g. Classification, Regression, or Recommender Systems).
  • Programming languages such as Spark, Python, Scala, Java are preferred.
