This position will be part of the Finance team at Dexter Energy, reporting directly to Igor Curic (CFO). While embedded in the financial reporting structure, you’ll be the bridge between the finance team and the commercial team, including sales, customer success, and trade operations. Your role is to ensure we have a strong foundation of reliable, scalable, and centralized data that enables better decision-making across the business.
As a Business Analyst at Dexter Energy, you will be responsible for structuring and improving our data capabilities to support financial and commercial decision-making. Your mission is to establish a single source of truth for revenue-related data, improve forecasting accuracy, and enable scalable processes that reduce manual work. You will take ownership of revenue analytics, support contract data validation, and enhance our reporting infrastructure for long-term growth.
The main objective of this role is enabling data-driven decision-making for C-level and commercial teams by setting up a reliable, scalable, and centralized financial data infrastructure, improving forecasting accuracy, and automating reporting processes.
Establish and maintain a single source of truth for revenue-related data.
Improve forecasting accuracy and automate reporting processes.
Validate and structure contract and service agreement data.
Optimize data flows between finance and commercial teams.
Support revenue insights and decision-making with accurate analytics.
Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance data-driven business operations
Strategic impact: Be a key player in aligning finance and commercial operations to drive better decision-making.

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Controller
Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel/Google Sheets
Experience building SQL queries and analytical tools is a plus
Familiarity with CRM systems like HubSpot and financial tools like Exact is a plus
Background in AI/ML, data science, trading, or energy transition is a bonus
Proven track record in revenue forecasting, KPI tracking, and data-driven decision-making
Passion for renewable energy and AI solutions
