As Senior Behavioral Data Scientist on the Product team at Fullstory, you will be a thought leader for our analytics innovations. This role will function as an internal advisor to product teams and customers who are looking for guidance in data best practices that will drive maximum value for their businesses. Reporting to the Director of Product Operations & Insights, you’ll be working with other data analysts, engineers and product managers to convert customer needs into features within the Fullstory platform.
In a typical day, you might:
Proactively identify and analyze trends, user behavior patterns, and correlations to uncover opportunities for new product features and enhancements that address customer needs
Lead data experimentation and A/B testing practices.
Develop and apply statistical models and machine learning algorithms that can be built into our platform to help customers understand and predict behavioral patterns.
Identify the most meaningful metrics for each industry vertical and provide benchmark analyses for our customers to utilize.
Stay current with advancements in data science methodologies and behavioral analysis techniques.
Work with product managers to roadmap new data product features or enhancements.
Collaborate with customers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to address business challenges and opportunities.
Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data infrastructure and ensure data quality for reporting and analysis purposes.
Here’s what we’re looking for:

Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences.

Proficient in data analysis and statistical modeling using Python (including libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow), SQL, and R.
Experience with data visualization products like Looker and Tableau.
Experience with data engineering concepts and technologies preferred, such as ETL processes, data warehousing, and data pipelines.

You’re a go-to advisor for both internal product teams and external customers seeking guidance on Fullstory’s behavioral analytics.
You’ve created a framework for each industry’s key metrics and strategic goals.
You influence our product roadmap with your insights into the ways Fullstory can deepen the out-of-the box insights available in our data product.
The impact you will have in 12 Months:
Your co-creation efforts result in new features that have moved the needle for Fullstory data product usage and adoption.
The base salary for this position ranges between $150,000 - $175,000 USD. Base salary will vary based on relevant experience, job-related skills and qualifications.
