About the role We are seeking a highly motivated Backend Engineer to join our growing team for our Edge Computing AI Platform. As an engineer with payment platform experience on our team, you will be responsible for helping us shape the future of payments processing and billing platform that would enable customers to purchase Edge AI Computing Infrastructure and Services. If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for cutting-edge AI, cloud, edge, and infrastructure technology and are ready to take on the challenge of defining and delivering a new computing and AI platform, we would love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities
Build new tools and services that support other teams’ processing payments, payment and billing workflows and financial observability for customers
Design, discuss, propose, and implement services and service integration with Payment SaaS platforms like Stripe, Square, Salesforce etc.
Collaborate with a diverse group of people, giving and receiving feedback for growth.
Execute on big opportunities and contribute to building a company culture rising to the top of the AI and Edge Computing industry.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in software development.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
Specifying, designing, implementing, releasing, and supporting low latency and high-throughput containerized application.
Building and deploying applications on the cloud or on-premise environments.
Familiarity with containers, modular software design.
Strong analytical skills with a bias for action.
Strong time-management and organization skills to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Solid written and oral communications skills.
Experience with version control systems like Git and working using a standardized git flow.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Demonstrable experience in building, programming, and integrating software for high-quality capabilities for global e-commerce business, including product, transaction, payment, fulfillment, after-sales etc.
Experience with E-Commerce or Monetization Products is preferred.
