Job Description

Associate Director, Forecasting Product Success will work within the Human Health Digital, Data, and Analytics (HHDDA) division where we are realizing the vision of a cohesive commercial decision support product suite, helping stakeholders make data-driven decisions to optimize delivery of our medicines to patients.  This role will contribute to the development and activation of our advanced internal forecasting products.

The successful candidate will work with the product management and product delivery teams to build relationships with our internal customers, train our activation teams in optimal product uses for their business objectives, measure product success and impact, and become expert in our customer’s needs to act as their voice in our product development.

The preferred candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, understanding of healthcare & technology, and experience with product development. The candidate will have demonstrated strong leadership skills, an ability to work independently and deal well with ambiguity, and strong collaboration and communication skills. The candidate will empower a growth mindset and inspire a culture of continual learning.

Primary Activities

  • Embedding with our forecasting colleagues to deeply understand their business problems and help them configure our product to meet their needs

  • Collaborating with forecasting leaders to understand their future solution needs and ensure the forecasting product is evolving to meet them

  • Co-developing training and marketing materials to help users around the world use our products effectively

  • Acting as a voice of customer for our product management and development teams, helping to propose, prioritize, and evaluate new product features

  • Developing and executing quality assurance plans to ensure the configured product meets business needs

  • Working with stakeholders in a consultative and responsive manner, to deliver high-quality and high-impact analytical and forecasting solutions

Skills and Experience

  • Advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Economics, or similar quantitative field

  • 5+ years’ experience in a lead role in predictive analytics or forecasting delivery in a pharmaceutical or life sciences space

  • Applied experience related to time-series forecasting, stochastic simulation, optimization, and machine learning

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both oral and written) with the ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences

  • Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams effectively

  • Experience designing and developing embedded reporting, dashboards, and visualizations

  • Comfortable managing teams with diverse skillsets as well as relationships with internal customers (market research, marketing, etc.)

  • Demonstrated competency in developing and managing complex project plans, timelines, budgets, and critical paths

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected US salary range:

$164,800.00 - $259,400.00
