Essential Functions:
Be a technology thought leader in the domain of ML and applied science in fintech space.
Use Generative AI to improve business workflows around core mission critical logic related to dispute management and merchant representment.
Build metrics and evaluations as we migrate business logic to LLMs.
Build high fidelity models for risk assessment in fintech space
Build engg systems to run the models at scale in production workflows.
Ensures alignment to data management principles, governance, process, and tools to maintain quality across all projects.
Supervises testing code in a common testing environment to assess compatibility.
Leads regular calls with production support teams to address issues with code.
Shapes the direction for the development of tools and automation processes that assist in transforming, optimizing, managing, accessing, deploying, and monitoring data processes in batches and in real time.
Monitors and supervises efforts to automate advanced data protocols, reduction techniques, and aggregation approaches to validate the quality of extracted data across the data pipeline.
Leads efforts to drive efficiencies across data extraction and ensures data quality and completeness using data wrangling, complex data modeling, and artificial intelligence.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
• 12+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 9
years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD,
MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 15+ years of relevant work
experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with
9+ years of experience
• 11+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree in computer
science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience solving data problems using data technologies
(e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Redis, NoSQL, RDBMS).
• Two (2) years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL
pipelines.
• Two (2) years of experience implementing and supporting real-time systems.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
