Job Title: Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer - R&D

Location: Hyderabad, India (With option for Face-to-Face Interviews in Hyderabad)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer with expertise in Python, PyTorch, and Generative AI to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taking academic research ideas to Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and production-ready solutions. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI/ML solutions, particularly in the area of Generative AI. The candidate should have experience in fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs), preference tuning using methods such as DPO, deploying them to production. They should also understand or have experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), hybrid search, re-ranking and relevant concepts. They should be familiar with either AWS or Azure or GCP services for ML model deployment.

Location : Hyderabad 

Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models using PyTorch and Python Django or FastAPI

* Take ideas from academic research papers to POCs and production-ready solutions

* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML research and apply them to real-world problems

* Fine-tune LLMs on various tasks / domains; Evaluate performance

* Understand and implement retrieval-augmented generation, hybrid search, re-ranking, and late-interaction models

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models into the product

* Communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

* Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable code

* Troubleshoot, debug, evaluate different AI/ML models

Requirements:

* Expertise in PyTorch

* Proficiency in Python (at least 4 years of experience)

* Experience with Django or FastAPI

* Strong background in Generative AI, particularly in LLMs research and fine-tuning

* Experience in deploying LLM based solutions to production

* Understanding of RAG, hybrid search, re-ranking, and embeddings models

* Strong communication and collaboration skills

* Experience in taking research ideas to POCs and production-ready solutions

* Active involvement in tracking cutting-edge AI/ML research
