We are currently seeking an experienced project manager for our Miami office. This role is our first US-based PM and will be critical to our ability to rapidly scale and deliver high-quality results in North America. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, a proactive attitude toward learning, and the ability to handle a high workload effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities with agility and resourcefulness. Develop creative solutions to overcome obstacles.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Coordinate with client and internal team on project deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for multiple concurrent projects.  
  • Remote Team Management: Train, manage, and coach a diverse pool of freelance consultants with varying skill sets. Clearly communicate project expectations, provide necessary resources and support, and foster a collaborative remote working environment.
  • Task Assignment and Monitoring: Break down project tasks, assign them to appropriate freelance consultants based on their expertise and availability, and monitor progress to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders, clients and consultants. Proactively identify and address potential risks, issues, and changes, ensuring all parties are informed.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet required standards and client expectations. Provide constructive feedback to consultants to drive continuous improvement.
  • Performance Management: Monitor the performance of consultants, provide regular feedback, and identify opportunities for skill development and engagement.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, status and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (at least 3-5+ years) managing multiple projects simultaneously, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and motivating remote or freelance teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Proficiency in excel, project management and collaboration tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • English and Spanish language proficiency.
  • Experience working in a global or distributed team environment.
  • Experience in translation, transcription, AI or ML a plus.
